Born in Australia, Frank sprouted into existence when a passion for nutrition and a frustration at the lack of healthy convenience products combined with the desire to innovate the solutions.

The wellness industry is overwhelmingly noisy with opposing messages and promised silver bullet solutions. It gets bloody confusing and Frankly, we’d had enough.

We decided to cut through the spin and bring Honest Nutrition to the forefront, meaning transparency and accountability are an equal first with amazing tasting products.

We’ve done the research so you can dive straight into your smoothie, but if you love the science just as much as we do, jump over to the nitty gritty bits here.

HOW DO WE DEFINE HEALTH?

For us, to be in good health means that your physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing are in harmony, you sleep well and you wake with energy and enthusiasm.

Is this going to happen every day? Absolutely not.

Is that ok? You betcha.

Sometimes, there’s simply going to be those days, and that’s just life. What is important however, is that more often than not, we have a holistic feeling of wellbeing.

We believe that the food you put into your body can have a huge affect on your wellbeing and we’re here to help you with that. Check out our first baby, Frank Smoothie Packs.

GLOSSARY

We source the freshest and best ingredients from around the world. Here’s a bit of info about the functional ones.

ACTIVATED CHARCOAL

Widely used to draw out toxins.

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR

Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine, was a BIG vinegar fan and used to treat all kinds of wounds and infections because of its’ antimicrobial properties. Luckily medicine has continued a strong advance and ACV is now used for its’ alkalising properties.
Do not use ACV to treat wounds or infections as Hippocrates did, not only will this fail to work but it will hurt like hell, go to your doctor!

BEETROOT

The Greek God Apollo was a huge fan of beetroot, he and his followers considered it an aphrodisiac, and boy could that lot party!
These days we look to beetroot for its’ dietary fibre, vitamin C and high antioxidant levels… but hey, if the aphrodisiac thing works, full steam ahead!

CINNAMON

For the Ancient Egyptian and Roman folk there wasn’t anything quite like cinnamon. Controlling the cultivation and trade of this spicy treasure was actually the motivation for Christopher Columbus’ voyage which lead to the discovery of the ‘New World’!
Nowadays we love it for it’s anti-inflammatory benefits and it’s ability to improve insulin resistance.

FLAXSEED

Flaxseed has been cultivated since the beginning of civilisation and its latin name, Linum Usitatissimum, literally translates to ‘very useful, which it is, being one of the richest plant sources of omega 3 fatty acid.
It’s also super high in fibre. Go you good thing!

GINGER

Turmeric’s Chinese cousin, used medicinally in ancient (and modern) times to aid digestion, reduce nausea and help fight pesky bacteria invasions – colds and flus.

MCT

Medium Chain Triglycerides, derived from 100% coconut oil, are thought to increase cognitive focus, supercharge your energy and assist with weight loss thanks to our clever liver converting the MCTs into ketones.
Ketones allow our body to produce energy from good fats, rather than sugar and carbohydrates. Nifty!

OATS

Turns out Mum was doing breakfast right all along, oats are SO good for you! Oats are super high in fibre and keep us feeling fuller, for longer. Thanks, Mum!

PUMPKIN SEEDS

The Spanish call these gems Pepitas, which very logically means ‘little seeds of squash’.
Many good things, like fibre, protein and magnesium show up in spades in these small packages.

TURMERIC

Loved in India for thousands of years as a spice and medicinal herb, turmeric not only makes curry taste amazing but is thought to act as an anti-inflammatory and is high in antioxidants.
Hint: Turmeric is best buds with black pepper who sticks close and ensures your body can absorb the turmeric-y goodness.

WATERMELON

Being 92% water it’s little wonder our summer fav is ultra hydrating, but the good times don’t stop there, it’s packing a whole bunch of antioxidants and vitamins A, B6 and C.
